Working alongside Liam Rush Design, we were asked by Farro’s Bradley Tapp to design, make and install a new display rack for front of house for their new bakery in Bristol city centre. We wanted to make the most out of the bespoke joinery by creating a warm, homely feel in the otherwise industrial working bakery. We achieved this through the use of solid Oak, overlapping each piece into a lattice formation to create a towering focal point in the space - customers can see through to the back where the baking takes place helping to keep the space light and open, the rack sits atop handmade cabinets with maple detailing and ebonized ash handles. In front of this sits the bespoke steel framed coffee bar clad in Oak and Quartz. You can find Farro’s just off Brunswick Square.

Materials - Oak, Birch Ply, Maple, Valcromat, Steel, Quartz, Brass.
