We were asked by Margaret and Jacob to make and install a fully fitted wardrobe with shaker style doors. Together we came up with a few different designs and finally settled with this layout and style. We used Oak veneer for the internal cabinetry finished in a Matt lacquer. The shaker style doors were made using traditional stub tenon joints with a grooved panel and finished by hand using a sturdy durable eggshell paint. Margaret & Jacob also asked us to make a handmade stable door for their kitchen. Having worked in cabinet making workshops and joinery workshops we have experience in both skill sets. We used Accoya for the door and frame which was made using traditional mortise and tenon joints. It was a pleasure working for Margaret & Jacob and we hope they enjoy their joinery for years to come.
